Your team needs to:

  • Be part of an established football team, youth club or school
  • Host the other teams in your area and youth club / school

London Football Journeys sets up exchanges between different youth organisations from across London. But it’s not all about playing football.

The journeys help young people learn from each other and break down prejudices through a number of workshops pre- and post-exchanges. On their own learning journeys, they’ll make new friends, travel to other parts of London and produce their own films.

“At LFJ young people are given the opportunity to learn and improve skills such as networking, socialising, problem solving and also exploring different parts of London, something young people do not do due to postcode gangs.”

Jalal Mahmoud, Youth Coach at Ariana Football Academy

Teams need to:

  • Meet at least once a week
  • Be part of an established football team, youth club or school
  • Host the other teams in your area
  • Be committed to taking part in the film and football activities lasting approximately 3 months
